Northaid Norway is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential educational opportunities and economic and humanitarian assistance for the impoverished rural Srilankan children and their families. We are a child-friendly organization, committed to building a meaningful future for children in rural Srilanka. We achieve this through quality education, health-related improvement for children, agricultural advancement and economic security. We encourage families rearing children in rural areas in Srilanka to develop sustainable livelihoods through local credit building founded on the philosophy that poor people are credit worthy. we are determined to counteract special problems such as child enslavement, child trafficking, child labor and child abuse, etc. as may be determined by times and circumstances
